About Refueling of gasoline

Refueling Instructions

Refueling Instructions

All rental cars are provided with a full tank of gasoline. Please return the car with a full tank by refueling at the nearest gas station before returning the vehicle.

Important:
- For assistance on how to refuel, please ask the staff at the gas station.
- Any refueling costs will be your responsibility if the car is returned without a full tank.

① Self-service gas stations are increasingly common in Japan.

At self-service stations, after hearing a prompt to begin fueling (typically in Japanese), you must first touch the anti-static panel before removing the fuel cap. Once refueling is complete, make sure the fuel cap is securely fastened. Failing to touch the anti-static panel may lead to static discharge, which can result in fire or an explosion.

Always touch the anti-static panel before starting to refuel.

② Japan uses 3 color-coded types of gasoline.
